Keep your test kit trustworthy, and keep working while it's away
An instrument that has drifted does not tell you it has drifted, it just quietly signs off bad fibre. We manage calibration, repair and RMAs for the test equipment we supply, whoever needs to do the work, and we can put a loan unit in your hands so nothing stops.
A measurement is only worth what its calibration is worth
Acceptance testing, warranty claims and handover packs all rest on the assumption that the instrument was right. Once a calibration has lapsed, every result it produced afterwards is arguable, and re-testing a route is far more expensive than staying in date.
- Defensible results. A certificate with a date on it, when a customer or an auditor asks.
- Catch drift early. Adjustment records show you which units are wandering and which are solid.
- Fewer surprises. Faults found on the bench, not halfway up a mast on a Friday.
- One contact. Multi-vendor fleets go through us instead of through six service portals.
How a calibration runs
Where the work happens depends on the instrument. What does not change is that you deal with one person here and always know where your kit is.
Tell us what you have
Model and serial number, and when it was last done. We come back with the route, the turnaround and the cost.
We route it correctly
Some instruments are handled here; others go to the manufacturer's own accredited service centre. We tell you which before anything moves.
Collection and tracking
Packed, collected and tracked, with one person here who knows where your kit is and can tell you.
Back, with the paperwork
Returned with its certificate and any adjustment record, ready to go back on the van or into the rack.
Across the whole portfolio, not just one brand
We distribute more than 30 vendors, so a mixed fleet is the normal case here rather than the awkward one. If it is test equipment and it is on your shelf, ask.
Fibre & Optical
OTDRs, light sources, power meters, OLTS, inspection probes and PON test sets.
RF & Microwave
Spectrum analysers, power sensors and meters, cable & antenna testers and PIM kit.
Transmission & Ethernet
Field testers, BERTs and transport analysers from 1G through 400G and beyond.
Copper & Cable
Cable certifiers, TDRs and copper qualification kit used on access networks.
Splicing & Deployment
Fusion splicers and cleavers: arc calibration, alignment checks and blade life.
Visibility & Capture
TAPs, packet brokers and capture appliances, functional check and firmware currency.
Don't stand a crew down for a calibration
The usual reason kit goes out of date is that nobody can spare it for a fortnight. So take a loan or hire unit for the window, and send yours in when it suits the schedule instead of when it has already lapsed.
- Loan and hire units from the same range, configured the way yours is.
- Stagger the fleet so you never have several instruments out at once.
- Reminders before it lapses, not an invoice afterwards.
Due, overdue, or just not sure?
Send us the models and serial numbers and we'll come back with what each one needs, where it goes and how long it will be gone.
