Cross-connect drop patch cords & pigtails

Drop cable patch cords and pigtails are specifically designed to be used in FTTH networks, between a customer outlet and ONT equipment. Fibrain patchcords are strengthened; thus they are resistant to mechanical damages, unlike ordinary patchcords. Therefore, each cable is constructed from flame-retardant materials, which do not emit any poisonous substances and toxic smoke (LSOH). Depending on a number of terminated fibres and a cable, the connector is clamped directly on the cable’s sheath or performed as a short fanout.

The following series are distinguished: PA0 – connector clamped directly on the cable’s sheath, PA1 to PA3 – fanouts with various structures and diameter adapted to the customer’s requirements (from 0.9 mm to 2.8 mm), PA4 – with armoured fanouts (fanout 1.8 mm reinforced with 3.0 mm outer-diameter metal spiral tube). There are different constructions, fibres, and fibre optic connectors available. Accurate and precise manufacturing process, detailed quality control process, interferometric measurements as well as the control of IL and RL parameters make our patchcords and pigtails reliable components of fibre optic networks.
