Overview

The T1Nexus QSFP-DD (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Double Density) Series delivers high-performance 400Gbps and 800Gbps optical interfaces built for modern hyperscale data centers, cloud networks, AI/ML training fabrics, and service provider routing backbones.

Utilizing 8 electrical lanes with advanced PAM4 DSP signal processing, T1Nexus QSFP-DD optics double port bandwidth while maintaining backward compatibility with standard QSFP28 ports. Distributed in the UK and Ireland by Frame, each module undergoes multi-vendor EEPROM programming to ensure complete DOM/DDM monitoring and hardware compatibility.

Key Product Features

  • High-Bandwidth Density: Full support for 400G (8x50G / 4x100G PAM4) and 800G (8x100G PAM4) configurations.
  • Backward Compatibility: Mechanical interface fits seamlessly into standard QSFP-DD cages and accepts legacy QSFP+/QSFP28 optics.
  • Low Power & Thermal Efficiency: Advanced 7nm/5nm DSP architectures keep module power consumption under 10W–12W for standard 400G optics and 14W–18W for 400G ZR coherent modules.
  • Coherent Optical Options: Includes OpenZR+ and 400G ZR modules for direct IP-over-DWDM (IPoDWDM) campus and regional interconnects without external transponders.
  • Frame Multi-Vendor Programming: Pre-coded in the UK for native compatibility across Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Nokia, Edgecore, and HPE switches.
  • Local Warranty & Dispatch: Shipped directly from Frame's UK hub with standard 5-year advance-replacement warranty support.
