Overview

1G TO 16G FC SFP+ AND 40G SFP+ Optical Transceiver.

SFP+ transceivers are focused on SAN protocols ranging from 1G up to 16G while also supporting other protocols such as Ethernet. SFP+ offers the versatility to be used in everything from Ethernet-based networks and broadband networks to SAN applications.

Smartoptics range of SFP+ Optical transceiver

Smartoptics SFP+ transceivers are available in a multi-service version for 1G-11.3G and an FC-only version for 4G-16G. SFP+ is suited for a wide range of Fibre Channel data centre applications. Such as from the bottom of the rack to the top of the rack, rack to rack and inter-data centre.

SFP+ transceivers are also a good fit for mobile backhaul and fronthaul. CWDM- and DWDM-based SFP+ transceivers are included to bridge longer distances and provide the higher capacity capabilities offered by these technologies.

SFP+ DAC and AOC

QSFP+ and SFP+ Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables provide a complete cable assembly instead of discrete components for short-distance connectivity. QSFP+ and SFP+ Active Optical Cables (AOCs) are also complete cable assemblies but use real transceivers and are suitable for longer distances.
