JBODs can be used to expand the hard drive capacity of the Allegro Network Multimeter. It can be used on the multimeters from Allegro 1000 onwards, increasing the ring buffer memory capacity of an Allegro Network Multimeter by up to 44 hard drives.
Allegro JBOD 2U or 4U
The JBOD extensions are designed for 10 GBit/s (2U) or 40 GBit/s (4U) recording rate. This makes it very easy to expand compatible Allegro Network Multimeters by up to 704 TB with HDDs and up to 40 GBit/s recording rates.
Parallel Ring Buffer Support
The Allegro Network Multimeter supports multiple parallel ring buffers, each containing a different number of JBOD hard disks. Independently configurable filter rules allow different L7 protocols, virtual link groups, and more, so matching packet data can be stored in different ring buffers.
