BOX-TT semi-anechoic chamber with a built-in turntable, is a key building block of the octoBox® wireless personal testbed.

The careful construction of the turntable and the method of its integration into the octoBox chamber ensure semi-anechoic conditions needed for controlled MIMO (multiple input multiple output) propagation. The turntable’s low-profile design leaves room for a variety of DUTs.

Submerging the power and data cables enables clean OTA (over the air) coupling between the test antennas and DUT antennas for optimum MIMO OTA measurement stability. Typically, the cables used to power and control the DUT are in motion while the turntable rotates. If not properly secured, these cables can get entangled by the rotation or block the DUT antennas, thus compromising the integrity of the measurement.

BOX-TT supports a variety of filters for high speed data, video and power that enable you to control the devices inside without breaching the isolation of the octoBox.

The filters include gigabit Ethernet with POE (power over Ethernet), USB, HDMI and DC power. OX-TT also has a built-in waveguide filter for feeding fiber optic or other non-metallic cables.

Antenna kits, shelves and other accessories described in the octoBox Datasheet make octoBox easily adaptable for a variety of test configurations.
