VLP-5 – Visual fault Locator is one simple and convenient test tool to identify the location of a break, microbend, or other discontinuity in a fibre optic network.
VLP-5 are visual fault locating tools for detecting and highlighting breaks, tight bends, splices or defective connectors on fibres. They are complementary and handy tools to OTDRs for their visual detecting method over short distances such as OTDR dead zones and high-fibre-count environments.
